Two Arrested during Traffic Stop
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reports that a traffic stop led to the seizure of suspected drugs.
Authorities said that just before 2AM Thursday a deputy conducted a traffic stop on South 7th Street near Vine Street in the City of Coshocton for a moving violation.
During the investigation of the stop, Canine Chili indicated on the vehicle, in which large amounts of suspected drugs, cash and other narcotic related items were located inside.
A female driver and male passenger were placed under arrest and transported to the Justice Center.
Authorities said 32-year- old Erin J. Gamache from Massachusetts was formally charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, a second degree felony.
The incident remains under investigation.
