MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The Duncan Falls Philo Business Association will be hosting a pet supply drive tomorrow at Katie’s Klippers in memory of K9 Deputy Narco.

Narco was a part of the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office who passed away at the age of five back in January. He was partnered with Deputy Jeremy Archer, who will be accepting items tomorrow from 1-3 p.m.

“I think everyone can appreciate the love that they have for their pets. They also can appreciate the service that the Sheriff Department and police give back to our community, and this is our way to say thank you to them in honor of one of their own,” President of the Duncan Falls Philo Business Association Katie Imlay said.

Imlay said anytime they put a call to action out in the area, people are always willing to donate. Items such as dog and cat food, cleaning supplies and monetary donations are accepted.

“The Duncan Falls Philo Business Association felt this was our way to honor Officer Narco, to benefit other animals in our area in his honor,” Imlay said.

If you cannot make it to Katie’s Klippers, you may drop off items to other local businesses in Duncan Falls. Be sure to let them know what it’s for.
