Christopher Baum

Christopher L. Baum, age 57 of Zanesville, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at his home following a short illness. He was born Saturday, March 21, 1964, in Columbus, the son of the late David Baum and Marjorie (Weigand) Baum.
Chris was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was a graphic designer, and loved tinkering with his hands, especially with automobiles, computers and technology. He was an avid fan of science fiction. He was a wonderful brother and uncle and was loved by his family.
Chris is survived by four siblings: David (Deborah) Baum of IN, Stephen (Judith) Baum of Newark, Judith (Dan) Jasper of Galloway, and Philip (Theresa) Baum of Grove City; four God Children: Jordan, Jacob, and Samuel Baum and Elizabeth Jasper; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where a prayer vigil will take place at 7:45 PM. Friends may also call from 9 AM to 9:45 AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 3 2021, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1020 East Main Street, Zanesville, with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating.
