Higher Gas Prices This Week
Motorists will see higher gas prices to start the work week. The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio is $3.39 in Monday’s survey from Auto Club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That’s 9 cents higher that a week ago. Experts say prices are continuing to rise because of solid economic recovery in China and the U.S. and other factors. The national average is $3.35 – about 4 cents higher than a week ago and 6 cents higher than this time last month. The Ohio average is about the same as a year ago at this time. The lowest average price in Ohio Monday is about $3.35 in the Toledo and Youngstown areas.
