MCLS Makes Changes to its Newsletter

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The Muskingum County Library System has made changes and improvements to its monthly newsletter.

The new event guide and book recommendation guide allows readers to view all the events that are happening during the upcoming months. In addition, the newsletter includes top-five lists of books that have been checked out  and book recommendations from the library staff.

“We have asked some of our staff members to provide their favorite book of all time, so you can get a peak of what some of our staff members really love reading. We’ve also used some of the data we have to let everyone know what the most popular books have been across the system,” MCLS Marketing and Community Relations Director Sean Fennell said.

All the book discussions are now on one page in the newsletter, allowing avid readers to find out when and where specific book discussions are taking place. Starting in September, six book discussions will take place across the Muskingum County Library System branches.

“I think this is a really good time for organizations and businesses to take a step back and evaluate what their mission is. I think it’s a good time to look at ways of doing things that might be a little different that could also benefit the community,” Fennell said.
