Futbol Friday Night Kicks of Soccer Season

It’s Futbol Friday Night in the state of Ohio, but not the kind of football you’re thinking of, that’s next Friday. We’re talking soccer.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association began the night as a way for high school soccer team’s in the state to complete a service project that will allow the schools involved to play 17 regular season games. Teams that take part in the night are also eligible to begin their regular season on any date after the 13th.

Schools not participating will start their regular season on August 20.

*Lakewood Boy’s Soccer @ Fairfield Union 5:30pm

*Philo Boy’s Soccer @ Maysville 6pm

*West Muskingum Boy’s Soccer @ St. Clairsville 6pm

*West Muskingum Girl’s Soccer @ Heath 7pm

*Rosecrans Boy’s Soccer v. Morgan 7pm

*John Glenn Boy’s Soccer v. Cambridge 7pm

*Newark Boy’s Soccer @ Johnstown-Monroe 7pm
