Marian Marie Schaumleffel

Marian Marie Schaumleffel, 97 of Zanesville, died 4:55 AM, Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Helen Purcell Home.  She was born Thursday, January 3, 1924, in Zanesville, the daughter of Raymond Paul and Carrie (Brennan) Paul and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Marian loved to travel and especially enjoyed the beach. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marian is survived by three children: Kathy (Mike) Firman of Zanesville, Robert A. (Ann) Schaumleffel, Jr of Westerville and Gary P. (Sandy) Schaumleffel of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren: Carrie, Doug, Dave, Tom,  Tim, Stephanie, Jeff, Steve, Jason, Nicole and Andrew; seven great grandchildren: David, Rebecka, Sydney Alex, Myla, Kennedy and Brayden.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband: Robert A. Schaumleffel, Sr.

Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville.  A 11:00 AM Funeral Mass will follow at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 East Main Street, Zanesville, with Fr. Jan C.P. Sullivan as celebrant. Marian will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
