Sobriety Checkpoint Planned This Week

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says its planning a Sobriety Checkpoint this week. 

The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced the day prior to the event, and the location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint. 

The idea is to deter and intercept impaired drivers. 

Operational support for the checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement agencies.
