It took New Lexington four sets to defeat John Glenn, 23-25, 25-10, 22-25, 18-25.
New Lexington’s Jerilynn Kofhiel had 2 aces, 3 blocks and 12 kills to lead the Panthers to victory. Trinity Cook added 2 aces and 10 digs and Nora Duperow had 3 aces and 1 block in the win.
The Muskies were led by Emma Johnson with 8 kills, 1 ace, 12 assists, 20 digs, 1 block, Abby Buchtel 8 kills, 4 aces, 11 digs, 100% serving, Emma Briggs- 19 digs, 4 aces, Emma Dolan 4 kills, 7 digs, 1 ace and Ryann Durben 3 kills, 10 digs, 1 ace, 100% serving.

GIRLS TENNIS:
The Blue Aces won at 1st, 2nd and 3rd singles behind Marie Weis, Kamryn Kirkham and Avery Spiker. Varsity doubles winners included Eliza Kurtz, Abby Riley, Abby Sanders, Sophia Tuma, and Emma & Abby Calvert.

Newark girls tennis lost a close 3-2 match to Central Crossing. At 2nd singles, Abby Armstrong won 6-1, 6-1. At 2nd doubles, Andy Hupp + Azzure Horne won 6-3, 6-2. With the loss, Newark is now 2-3 overall.
