Paige Nicely took medalist honors with a 43 to lead River View to a 206-244 win against host Tri-Valley in a Muskingum Valley League match at Vista Golf Course. Chloey Geog added 51 and Caily Shriver 53 for the Lady Bears; Hollee Sheneman had 59.

GIRLS TENNIS

Eliza Kurtz and Abby Riley earned a three-set victory for Granville against Watkins Memorial’s Abby Grove and Abigail Richardson, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles to complete the sweep for the visiting Blue Aces.

Granville’s Sophia Tuma and Abby Sanders beat Watkins’ Abbey Ransom and Haley Lorenz, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 2 doubles.

Granville singles winners were Marie Weis against Katie Clippinger, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1, Kamryn Kirkham against Claudia Schaar, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2 and Avery Spiker against Terah Severance, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 3.

BOYS GOLF

Rosecrans’ Charlie Peterson earned medalist honors with 35 as host Rosecrans earned a nonleague win against the Black Bears on the back nine at Jaycees. Weston Hartman added 38 for Rosecrans, which shot 185. Evan Bauer added 48 and Jordan Joseph 64. Thad Cox shot 46 and Josh Woolard 59 for River View.

Sheridan Varsity boys got a win in a non-league matchup against Fairfield Union 165-171. Cooper Winders led the team with a 40. Blaine Hannan added a 41. Blake Turnes and Reed Coconis shot a 42 each.
