Newark golf shot a season low 354 at the Lancaster Invitational. The low many was Mitch Bolte with a 77 with a top 10 individual finish. Other scores for Newark were Braden Kim 87, Connor Dennis 94, Griffin Richards 96.

Zanesville finished 13th in the Invitational with a score of 389.

Briley Hamm scored the loan goal for the Bobcats.

West Muskingum scored to first half goals to secure the victory. Those goals came from Allison Latier. Laney Johnson had one assist and Gracie Settles had 2 saves. This is the Tornados first shut out of the season.

The Bobcats two goals came from Destiny Garcia and Jenna Murrey. Jenna Young made 10 saves for Cambridge.

JOHN GLENN: 0 NEW PHILADELPHIA: 3

The Quakers scored one goal in the first half and two in the second to secure their victory over the Little Muskies. New Philadelphia’s first goald came from Lauryn Contini. Their two second half goals were scored by Audrey Harr. John Glenn’s goalkeeper “Bean” Sowers made 10 saves off 13 shots

The Panthers Raegan Campbell had 3 goals and Emma Cubbison had 2 goals in the victory. Kylee White added 1 goal and 3 assists.

The Wildcats Mayci Sayre scored the lone goal for Newark.

Granville lost in three set to Watkins 10-25, 6-25, 20-25. Emily McNabb had 3 kills, Kaylin Fuhrman had six digs and Gracie Mack had 9 assists.

The Bobcats swept Warren 25-21, 25-16, 25-23. Camryn Gebhart was 14/14 serving with 1 ace, 15 kills, 1 block and 8 digs. Ava Byerly had 1 block, 27 assists and 2 digs. Ziciah Gibson had 5 kills and 4 digs.

The Panthers fell to the Black Bears 15-25, 8-25, 7-25.

River View’s Ashley Newell had 10 kills and 2 blocks and was 100 percent serving. Kayla Dulgar had 22 assists, 3 aces and 9 digs.

Maysville’s Laikyn Clark had 1 ace, 5 digs and 6 kills. Jayda McGarvey had 1 ace, 1 block 1 dig and 3 kills. Mallon Bradley had 8 digs and 2 kills.

The Coshocton Redskins Volleyball team picked up a straight-sets victory over the visiting Tornadoes from West Muskingum by the scores of: 25-21,25-16,25-20. Offensive leaders for the ‘Skins were Lindsay Bryant with 11 kills, Hailey Helter with 9 and Ella Bible with 4. Jalynn West set up the offense with 27 assists. At the service line, Addy Gordon served up 4 aces, while West, Bryant and Bible each chipped in 2. Miyah Davis anchored the defense with 15 digs.  The Redskins improve to 4-2 on the season and 2-2 in the Muskingum Valley League. West Muskingum falls to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the MVL.

The Varsity volleyball team battled with Newark Catholic in five to come up short for the win. 25-18/25-23/16-25/21-25/10-15. Taylor Hoover and Sydney Chapman had 8 kills. Renae Cunningham had 5 kills. Taliya Holmes had 11 assists and Elizabeth Robertson had 6 assists, Meghan Yeagle had digs and 14 serve receive.

Tusky Valley volleyball defeats Ridgewood in 5 sets, 15-25, 25–18, 19-25, 25-20 and 15-13.

The Wildcats went five sets with Thomas Worthington 25-18, 20-25, 25-16, 25-17. Jenna Shackleford had 9 Kills, 2 Aces, 1 Block, and 10 Digs. Avery Reagan added 9 Kills. Jaylen Jackson had 5 Kills, 1 Block, 1 Ace, and 12 Digs. Layne Sanford 6 Kills, 17 Assists, and 14 Digs. Carlee Thompson 13 Assists, 5 Aces, and 11 Digs.
