Lady Bishops shutout Philo Electrics 7-0.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- It was a hot day for soccer, but both teams fought hard.

The Bishop Rosecrans girl’s soccer team hosted the Philo Electrics Saturday afternoon.

Heading into halftime, Bishops led 2-0.

Within the first two minutes of the second half, Chloe Zemba had a break away goal giving the Rosecrans a 3-0 lead.

With 32:40 on the clock, Sydney Maxwell found the back left corner of the net to give the Rosecrans a 4-0 lead.

About two minutes later Avery Maxwell nails one from a far over Philo’s goal keeper. Rosecrans took a 5-0 lead.

22:54 on the clock and Sydney Maxwell crossed the ball from the left side of the field to Zemba. Zemba found the back of the net and the Rosecrans took the 6-0 lead.

Makaela McLaughlin scored the final goal of the afternoon.

The Lady Bishops defeated Philo 7-0.

The Bishop’s next game is home on September 22 at 5:30 against Columbus Academy.
