Muskies Fall to Blue Streaks

John Carroll used a second-half surge to pull away from Muskingum on their way to a 29-7 victory.

Muskie senior defensive back Cortez McGinnis gave Muskingum the early 7-0 lead with a 91-yard interception for a touchdown.

John Carroll tied the game with 3:54 left in the first on an eight-yard touchdown pass from Jake Floriea to Kenny Cross. They would add another touchdown with just seconds left to go in the first half on a Demerius Goodwin three-yard run.

John Carroll scored two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter and connected on a two point conversion.

Muskingum is now 3-2 overall, 2-2 in the OAC. John Carroll is 2-2 overall, 2-1 in the OAC.
