Muskies Fall to Baldwin Wallace

The Muskingum Muskies football team fell to Baldwin Wallace Saturday 49-10.

Baldwin Wallace, who was fresh off a 51-0 win the previous week came to Zanesville High School and did not look back. The Yellow Jackets rushed for 364 yards on 58 attempts and gained 473 yards of offense total on the ground. Carrying majority of the load for Baldwin Wallace was star running back Jon Murray who accounted for 2 touchdowns on the afternoon.

Eric Ieuter’s Muskingum defense would make adjustments in the second half and forced back to back punts to begin the third quarter.

At the beginning of the 4th quarter, Muskingum scored their first touchdown on a 5 yard touchdown pass from Jordan Garrett to Ja’Lin Goodman to make it 42-7.

Muskingum’s record is now 3-3. The Muskies travel to Westerville next Saturday for an afternoon game against Otterbein at 2:00pm.
