The Rosecrans Bishops fell to number two seed Coshocton on the road in tournament action.

Coshocton gets goals from Alec Laaper and Skylar Dobson in final 4:15 of the match.

The Redskins will now continue on in DIII east play facing West Muskingum on October 27 at a site TBA.

WEST MUSKINGUM: 3 STEUBENVILLE CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 2

In Division III Boys sectional play Francesco Rossi scored the game winning goal on a free kick 13:33 into overtime to secure the Tornadoes sectional championship. They will now advance to the district semi at a site TBD.

The Tornadoes face Coshocton next.

NEW LEXINGTON: 2 SHERIDAN 3 OT

Sheridan moves on to play number one seed Marietta on October 20 at 5pm.

All five goals for the Wildcats came in the first half. Scoring began in the 4th minute when Jayveon Body found the back of the net with a header off an Elijah Mason corner kick.

James Presley would score the first of his three goals on the night, with a diving header, assisted by Noah Dagois. Dagois’ 2nd assist of the game would come from a corner kick scored by Jibreel Smith. James Presley would score two goals in quick succession to close out the half, with the first coming from a Bryce Casteel cross and the 2nd from an unassisted breakaway.

Noah Marvin and Blane Sturm had one save each to combine for the shutout.

The Wildcats will play New Albany in DI Central play on October 21.

HILLSBORO: 6 SHERIDAN: 0

CAMBRIDGE: 3 COSHOCTON: 2

The Bobcats will move on to district play after their win over the Redskins in DIII East play.

Cambridge was led by Riley Crupper who netted all three goals. GoalKeeper Jenna Murrey made 16 saves.

Cambridge will now move on to play Hiland on October 26 at a site TBD.
