Get Some Laughs and Support the FOP

The Fraternal Order of Police Zane Lodge Number 5 wants to bring a smile to your face and some laughs to go along with it.

They’re hosting a comedy club fundraiser with the help of Bryan Place this Friday, November 12. Two comedians will entertain the crowd. There’ll be food and drinks to purchase and good company.

“We are taking the chance of selling it out. We’re trying to sell a total of 200 tickets and we’re about 50 to 60 from doing that. It’s been a good response it’s a really good time,” said Sheriff Matt Lutz.

The Fraternal Order of Police is a non-profit group that provides scholarships, sponsors baseball teams and holds a dinner for seniors amongst other activities.

“The FOP is a huge support organization for all of our law enforcement personnel. It’s like any other type of organization they have monthly meetings and they do miscellaneous charity events throughout the year mainly for our law enforcement members families,” explained Sheriff Lutz.
