Mother Pleads Guilty to Child Endangering Charges
A Coshocton mother accused of assaulting her infant son appeared in court Thursday.
An official with the Coshocton County Common Pleas Court says that 20-year-old Kelsey Starkey pleaded guilty to two felony counts of child endangering.
Starkey was arrested in late January after Coshocton County Sheriff’s Investigators determined that her 3-month-old son had been assaulted and was hospitalized with severe injuries.
Starkey’s husband Christopher was also arrested and is facing charges of child endangering.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in court Monday, March 4.
Coshocton County Common Pleas Judge Robert Batchelor increased Kelsey Starkey’s bond from $75,000 to $250,000.
