Sandra Kay (Filkins) Rusnak

Sandra Kay (Filkins) Rusnak, 72, of Mount Perry, passed away at 4:25 a.m. Wed. Jan. 19, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital while under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born on Sept. 25, 1949, in Roseville, a daughter of the late John and Ardella (Dennis) Filkins. She was a member of the LifeWay Church and was retired from the Genesis Sleep Disorder Center as a respiratory therapist. She enjoyed being outdoors, crocheting, and was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by one son Daniel (Tammy) Rusnak. One daughter Brenda Rusnak. Daughter-in-law Kyla Rusnak-Beekman (Allen). Six grandchildren Kyle Rusnak, Zach (Sarah) Rusnak, Noah Rusnak, Jessica (Mark) Fowler, Krysta (Cole) James, and Clayton Rusnak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Rusnak, Sr. One son Donald Rusnak, Jr. Two daughters Della Rusnak and Jodi Rusnak. One brother Jack Filkins. Three sisters Mary Fryer, Helen Hillary, and Evelyn Harden. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Sat. Jan. 22, 2022 with service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the LifeWay Church on Maysville Pike with Pastor Jim Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery. William Thompson & Son Funeral Home is assisting the Rusnak family.
