Wilma Rose Paynter

Wilma Rose Paynter, 84 of Zanesville, passed away February 5, 2022 at Willow Haven Care Center, surrounded by her family.

She was born October 4, 1937 in West Virginia, daughter of the late, Thorton Nicholson and Blanche Nicholson.

She is survived by her children Shirley (Dale) Johnson, Rob (Valerie) Paynter Jr., Dave Paynter, Bill (Melodie) Paynter, John (Brandy) Paynter; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paynter Sr.; children Richard, Ronald, Kenny, Roy, Carol, and Susan; grandson, Dylan Paynter; 13 siblings.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday February 9, 2022 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 AM with Rev Darren Tolbert officiating.  Burial will follow at Dresden Cemetery.
