Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Eight couples renewed their wedding vows this afternoon at the Primrose Retirement Center.

Event Coordinator Katie Ware says this was the first time that Primrose had performed the ceremony.

“I just looked online for fun things to do in retirement communities and what would get our residents engaged, and families. I came across it and knew it would be the perfect thing to do,” Ware said.

North Terrace Church of Christ Lead Minister Chris Steele led the ceremony that brought emotion to the couples and the attendees.

“Just watching it, I think that meant everything to them. Lots of tears, lots of emotion, They’re very grateful that this went on today. So full of love, so very much full of life and ready to take on whatever’s next,” Ware said.
