Illinois High School Basketball All-State Advisory

Ap State News
Attached again is the ballot & voting instructions in PDF form. (Corrected from last night: Moved Draper to 2A, added Hutson in 2A).
If you see a major error, please let me know!
If unable to access, let me know that, too, and we can send a cut-and-paste version or put on Google Docs for you!
Thank you again to those able to nominate players!
Multiple nominations have been combined and the list of nominees is alphabetized.
Voting is open until Wednesday morning (instructions say 9 am, but let me know if you have a problem hitting that and I’ll see what we can do!)
The teams will be released late Wednesday afternoonTearly evening prior to the state finals starting Thursday.
As always, I will get you a copy of the team ASAP for your local stories but keep it embargoed from the internetAsocial media until it hits the AP wire.
Please vote in as many classes as you can to ensure a representative team. (The more voters, the more kids get honored normally. And remember, nobody has seen all of these kids — that’s why we work hard to compile a ballot chocked full of information so you can make a quality judgement!).
REGARDLESS OF AFFILIATION, ALL MEDIA MEMBERS ACROSS THE STATE OF ILLINOIS COVERING HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE (newspaper sportswriters, radio and TV broadcasters, Internet operators).
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR VOTES IN A NEWLY CREATED EMAIL AND NOT AS A REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. (That’s how votes get lost!) Send votes to preppolls@gmail.com.
Please vote for five first team and five second-team players in each class.
A player must be named on at least two ballots to receive honorable mention.
If you look this over and see that someone worthy has been omitted, please alert the entire email chain. Each voter is allowed one write-in candidate (please note write-in status and include the name of the player’s school, height, year in school and basketball position).
