MCCF Spring Grant Competition

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Community Foundation is offering applications for their 2022 Spring Grant Competition for nonprofits and community Projects.
MCCF Chief Executive Officer Brian Wagner explained how the foundation gained the money to provide for the Spring Grant and some of the projects the grant has covered in the past.
“The proceeds came from our Great Groundhog Giveaway raffle. Our groundhog event, we unfortunately had to do it online this year. We weren’t able to do a live event but still had a successful raffle and online auction and also had a generous donor who stepped up to add to it as well,” Wagner said.
The foundation earned $70,000 for the Spring Grant that will be awarded to applicants who provide projects and programs that will make a deep impact within Muskingum County.
“Over the years we’ve been able to fund say The Special Riders Program that the Carr Center has, we’ve been able to fund hot spots for the library to be able to give away, and those are things that have been done in the past and we’ll certainly welcome applications from those organizations moving forward into the future as well,” Wagner said.
Applications for this year’s Spring Grant will be available online Thursday March 3, with an informational webinar via Zoom Tuesday March,15 and will be due at Noon Monday March 28. For more information you can visit MCCF.ORG
