“The Michael Vick Experience” Coming to Zanesville in May
ZANESVILLE, OH- One of the most well-known quarterbacks of the past decade will be in town in less than seven weeks.
Former NFL QB Michael Vick will be at Blue Devils Stadium at Zanesville High School to host a football camp on May 7th. The event is open to young kids and goes all the way up to collegiate athletes.
Pro.Vision Elite Sports President and CEO Cory Newman touched on how the Michael Vick Experience is truly more than football. But, it’s an opportunity to give kids right here in our own backyard a space to learn valuable life lessons as well as receive the opportunity of a lifetime.
“First and foremost, with God all things are possible and if you can think it, it can happen. I’m just an advocate on dreams. Dream no small dreams…and so to bring someone such as Michael Vick to Zanesville, Ohio and give these kids an opportunity to have a lifetime experience, once in a lifetime possibly experience, you know just does my heart good,” said Newman.
As well as the camp itself, Newman says there will be scholarships awarded to area kids in conjunction with the event. But ultimately, he said he is grateful for the local businesses that have supported the camp throughout the process.
