Lorena Casto

Lorena Gay Casto, age 85, of Norwich, OH, died Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the Gensis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. She was born October 12, 1941, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Carl Davidson and Geneva Snyder Davidson Gordon. On May 3, 1988, she married Robert Lee Casto, Jr., who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Davidson and one sister, Pansy Spangler. She is survived by one daughter, Toni James of Zanesville; two sons, Franklin Asher of Chandersville, OH and Mitchell Asher of Blue Rock, OH; two granddaughters, Alexandra James and Ashlee Asher; one grandson, Zachariah James; two sisters, Delores Wilson and Loretta Dawson both of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Casto was a property manager and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution the Elizabeth Zane Chapter in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 12 Noon until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
