3rd Threat Letter At West Muskingum
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a third threatening letter to the West Muskingum School District. The first two went to the Middle School, the latest letter was found today at the High School. Superintendent William Harbron – on the school’s website – wrote that it was not mailed and due to the delivery method, content and style of the letter Sheriff’s Detectives do not feel the incidents are related. Harbron writes the students involved in the high school letter and their parents have been contacted by the school district. Harbron says the campus and schools are being patrolled and monitored by the Sheriff’s Office. The schools will continue to maintain high levels of safety procedures and cautions while maintaining normal schedules and programs.
