Authorities Investigate Coshocton County Accident
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said speed and possible alcohol use are suspected factors in a Tuesday afternoon accident.
Authorities said 29-year-old Sarah Nelisse of West Lafayette was flown to Grant Medical Center following the one vehicle crash around 2 p.m. on State Route 93.
Her two children ages 5 and 2 were also in the vehicle. They were taken to Coshocton Memorial and then to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
The sheriff’s office reports that Nelisse was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty on State Route 93 between Township Road 152 and Township Road 155 when she went left of center striking a mailbox.
The Jeep then struck a culvert and went into the air and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels.
The accident remains under investigation.
