MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio – Meet Gador! He is a 5 year old Boxer mix and this week’s Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Centers Dog of the Week.

He is very timid but a good boy. He is blind in one eye.  Though he has a disability, volunteer for the K-9 Adoption Center Doug McQuaid says that he would be great for any family.

“Really and truthfully, as gentle as this dog is, even a person that has small children would be no problem. It walks well, anybody can walk it and so forth. It’s really no certain family that this dog wouldn’t fit in wonderful with.”

The adoption center is also currently looking for different types of volunteers and dog food donations.

Gador and other dogs in the Adoption Center can be taken home for 50% off for the rest of this month.

“It was a 4th of July promotion for the $50 adoption fee. So that runs clear till the end of the month and what a lot of people don’t realize is that we are open 7 days a week, so even on Saturday and Sunday. So please come out and see us. There’s got to be a dog out there that you would love to be able to adopt.”

Gador does good around other dogs and is kid friendly. In addition to that, he also does well in a car and is house broken. If you would like to adopt Gador or any other animal, visit the adoption center.
