Drug Investigation in Noble County

One person is in custody and another taken in for questioning during the execution of a search warrant in the Village of Caldwell.

It took place in the 600 block of Fairground Street, Friday morning. The Noble County Sheriff’s Office said the warrant was issued in an investigation into suspected manufacturing and trafficking of methamphetamines.

Arrested during the raid was 39-year-old Jessie Short of Caldwell for an outstanding warrant out of Marietta for counterfeiting. Also taken into custody a 45-year-old Caldwell woman.
