She tried to maintain a home her family can enjoy and bring their friends to with pride. She supplies them with well-balanced meals and herself with enough outside activities to be an interesting wife and mother. During her 21 years of marriage, she has done all of her own cooking, painting, upholstering, paper hanging, sewing, gardening, repair work and furniture refinishing—because she enjoys doing them. She goes bicycling, canoeing, camping, hiking, ice skating, fishing and roller skating with her children. She is a volunteer with Crew Five at the American Cancer Society’s Thrift Shop in Grove City.
