William Harold “Bill” Hatfield, 58 of Blue Rock, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Bill was born in Zanesville on June 29, 1960.  He is the son of Harold and Evelyn (Richardson) Hatfield of Zanesville.  He was a 1978 graduate of Philo High School and the owner and operator of Hatfield Trucking.  A member of the Iron Workers Local Union 172 from 1993-2015. He was a past member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years, where he served at the Assistant Chief.  He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed the outdoors.  He loved spending time with his grandsons.

Bill is survived by his parents; his son, Josh (Jenna) Hatfield of Cambridge; his step-daughter, Jenn (Jason) Focht of Fremont, OH; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Parker, Noah and Tim; his uncles, Skeet (Linda) Hatfield, Pete (Shirley) Hatfield, and Fred (Ginny) Hatfield.

Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Hatfield; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Marie Richardson; his paternal grandparents, Snow and Dorothy Hatfield; his aunt and uncle, Betty and Gary Martin, a cousin Mike Chaffin.

Visitations will be 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 10 am on Monday.  Pastor Greg Marquis will officiate the services.  He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
