Licking County Phone Problems

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is currently experiencing some interruption in phone service.

Officials say some calls are coming in through the non-emergency phone lines to their dispatchers, however some people said they cannot get through and they get a recording that all circuits are busy.

Windstream has been contacted and crews have been working on a cut fiberoptic line that services the area. The line also services AT&T and Verizon cell service.

If you have a non-emergency call and you cannot get through to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office they ask you call 911 and they will transfer your call.
