Meet Mar, This Weeks Pet of The Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s time to meet this week’s Pet of The Week.

Mar is a 10-month-old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped female golden retriever. Not only is she adorable, but she’s also loving and sociable, making her a great addition to any family. Her ability to get along with other four-legged friends is a bonus, ensuring she’ll be a great furry companion.

“She’s going to need some room to run. She does like walking on a leash, she doesn’t appear to have any issues with other dogs. Other than she’s very playful due to being a puppy,” Animal Shelter Society Executive Director, April Gibson said.

The Animal Shelter is currently closed to the public until Sunday due to the installation of a new roof. Precision Roofing and Gutters have been efficient in their work to put up the new roof, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the shelter’s animals.

“They didn’t want to cause any disruption for our animals, but it can be even though they are going to be good, it can be disruptive. So, we have extra staff on keeping the animals calm,” explained Gibson.
