ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Christ’s Table receives a very generous donation to help them get through one of the busiest times of the year.

Summertime at Christ’s Table is always busy especially with the kids on summer break. Executive Director, Keely Warden said right when they noticed the shelves were starting to become bare, they received a large donation from 3 different businesses to help them stock the shelves back up.

“We got a phone call from the Oaks at Bethesda and the Oaks at Northpoint last week a fabulous food drive that they both did to help stock the shelves back up. Just this week we got a call from Time Warner Cable and the wonderful associates did a huge food drive. They had so much food drive and then the management team matched what their associates bought in,” said Warden.

A total of 8,000 items were provided over the last week from the three different businesses and warden wanted to take the opportunity to extend her gratitude.

“We are stocked and we are so excited and we just want to put a big thank you out there to everybody that realizes that we’ve been talking about summer being our busy time of the year and we’re so happy that are community is realizing that,” said Warden.
