Local Businesses Team up for “Coats for Kids” Drive

ZANESVILLE, OH – Some local businesses are teaming up for a “Coats for Kids” coat drive.

Precision Roofing, Fit’ish, and Route 13 Nutrition will be collecting gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves until the 15th. Tim Matheney, Co-Owner of Precision Roofing, said this is their way of giving back to the community during the colder months.

“We just want to give back to the community,” Matheney said. “The community is good to us and we want to do some good for this community.”

All of the donations will be spread out between the Salvation Army and Eastside Community Ministry. This year is the first year these businesses have partnered together for this drive.

“We started collecting for the drive about 2 and a half weeks ago,” Matheney said. “We’ve had a really great response from the community, so this drive is going really well for us.”
