Sheriff’s Office Investigates Death

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office investigates what they consider a suspicious death. 

Sheriff Matt Lutz said that around 10:50p.m. Monday the sheriff’s office received a call in reference to an unresponsive female at 6677 McCaslin Road. 

When deputies arrived they found the body of a 25-year-old female, deceased. Sheriff Lutz said detectives are investigating the case as a homicide. 

The sheriff reports detectives do have a person of interest and a vehicle they’re trying to locate.
