Naomi Barnett

Naomi D. Barnett, 94, of Zanesville, died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday March 6, 2024 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born on February 12, 1930 in Brownsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Ramsay) Bennett. Naomi is survived by one son Danny L. Barnett. One brother Gary (Sandy) Bennett. Five sisters Georgia Watson, Adalene Thornburg, Shirley Miller, Jean Baker, and Betty (David) Jarvis. A daughter-in-law Carol Barnett. Grandchildren Josh (Danielle) Barnett, Ashley (Laramie) Pierce, Crystal (Michael) Heonis, and Amanda (Scott) McLean. Several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers-in-law Larry Barnett and Henry Barnett. Three sisters-in-law Eleanor Hicks, Maxine Williams, and Helen Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Barnett. Her first son T. Mark Barnett. Three brothers Harold Bennett, Bob Bennett, and Keith Bennett. Two sisters Leona Matson and Slenia Wilson. Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday March 8, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 9, 2024 with Joe McFee officiating. Burial will be held in Pennsville Cemetery.
