Jerome Tolliver

Jerome Ervin Tolliver, 55, of Zanesville, Ohio went home to be with our lord on the late evening of Monday, March 18, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. Jerome was born on January 6, 1969, in Lorain Ohio. Jerome was the fourth son to the late James E. Tolliver and Ima Sue (Hess) Tolliver of Jackson Ohio.

Jerome is preceded in death by his father, James E. Tolliver; brothers, Kenneth R. Tolliver and Ivan L. Tolliver; as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, several cousins and friends.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ima Sue (Hess) Tolliver; siblings, Patricia (Evan) Tolliver of Washington courthouse, James L. Tolliver of Jackson Ohio and Jeff (Amy) Tolliver of Guysville Ohio; Pamela Kelly Wells, who was the closest thing to a daughter Jerome had, as he took her under his wing as his own.

Jerome graduated from Jackson High School, Buckeye Vocational School in 1988. He enjoyed driving his trucks as well as the mechanical parts for them. He was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed. The world was a better place because Jerome was in it.

You may call on the family, Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Burrell funeral services, 414 LaSalle St. Zanesville Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish for Children foundation.

Jerome will have visitation at Cox funeral home in Beaver Ohio. Date and times will be updated once those are established.

Following his visitation and funeral in Beaver Ohio, Cremation will take place.
