OVI Checkpoint Tonight

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the location of Friday’s sobriety checkpoint in Licking County.

The Patrol said the checkpoint will take place on State Route 79 from 9pm to 2am. The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol related injury and fatal crashes.

The Patrol said if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
