Arraignment of Area Judge Postponed
The arraignment of a Perry County judge was to take place in Franklin County Municipal Court Wednesday morning.
However, court records show that the arraignment of Judge Dean Wilson was continued until Monday, September 22. Wilson faces charges of hit-skip and operating a vehicle under the influence, both misdemeanors.
Columbus Police said Judge Wilson was in the Arena District in Columbus around 9:30 Sunday, August 31, when he hit the side of a Central Ohio Transit Authority bus then fled the scene.
Judge Wilson is known locally for presiding over a trial at New Lexington High School that educates students on the dangers of drinking and driving.
