United Way of MPM Raffling off OSU Football Tickets

The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties is concluding its campaign Kickoff week.

The final event of this year’s kickoff is the raffling of two tickets to the Ohio State football game on September 27. All profits from the raffle will go towards United Way’s campaign. Executive Director, Meg Deedrick is very excited with the success of the new format for kickoff this year.

"We’re off to a great start this year," Deedrick said. "This year we tried something different. Number one, we did kickoff events throughout the week. We’ve been able to reach a greater number of people than we have in the past with a single event."

So far, United Way has raised over $110,000 from its campaign. United Way spends $102 every hour of every day to help strengthen the community. She said it’s possible to do this from all the support from donors.

"Of course we couldn’t do it without the donors and investors that say I want our community to be improved and this is how," Deedrick said.

She said that the raffle is an easy way to participate in the United Way Campaign. You can purchase a raffle ticket from United Way’s office or you can go directly to their website at www.unitedwayofmpm.org.

The tickets were donated by the Times Recorder.
