Ohio Means Jobs Preparing For Another Job Fair

Ohio Means Jobs is gearing up for another job fair.

Fanatics and Harry & David are looking to fill 3,000, full time seasonal positions. General labor, shipping and receiving and pulling are just some of the available openings. Before you attend the event, Supervisor of Ohio Means Jobs says you need to fill out an online application and assessment.

"We are asking that interested applicants go online and apply either staffmark.com or harryanddavid.com prior to the event. Once that’s done, what they can do is they can possibly be hired the night of the event so if they can have that online application and assessment done prior to, they will be interviewed and possibly hired that evening."

The job fair will be on Monday and will run from 2PM to 5:30PM at the Zanesville Muskingum County Welcome Center and you are asked to bring a photo ID. Metzger says events such as these give employers and job seekers the chance to connect.

"I think the importance of job fairs are just bringing the employers and the job seekers together so they can talk one on one. The seeker can get to know about the company and the company can ask questions to the job seeker like what kind of skills, their background. That type of thing. So it just puts the two together."

If you are unable to attend Monday’s job fair, you can still apply at the Harry & David and Staffmark websites: staffmark.com, www.harryanddavid.com
