Update: State Route 60 Accident

 The Ohio State Highway Patrol said they continue to investigate a two car injury accident near Duncan Falls. 

The accident took place Thursday, September 25 just before 6pm on State Route 60. 

Sergeant Jeff Jirles of the Zanesville Post says the crash sent a total of five people to Genesis Hospital. Three of the injured are area teens ranging in ages from 14 to 16 as well as a mother and her infant daughter. 

A 16-year-old boy was later taken be medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. 

Names of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
