A Warm Fall day in Muskingum County

Leaves are changing colors and the days are getting shorter, but for the time being the weather is staying warm.

Temperatures reached near the 80s Friday, and many people were out at Zane’s Landing Park enjoying the sunshine. If he can, James Lucas, rides his bike everyday. He’s already logged 860 miles this year.

"It’s great," Lucas said. "The leaves will be changing pretty soon. It’ll be prettier the more we ride up through here, and riding in the car will be gorgeous."

Several people that we talked to at the park said that they’re trying to enjoy the sun as much as possible before it goes away. However, not everyone shares that view. Despite enjoying the cooler weather more, Trenten Hiles took his dog for a walk Friday afternoon.

"I wanted to get him out of the house before he, before he tears my grandpa’s basement up," Hiles said.

Days like today may not be around for much longer, but for now you still have time to experience the warm weather.
