Y-City Gun Fest Saturday
Food, fun and fellowship is what the Y-City Gun Fest is aiming for.
Gates open at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds at noon Saturday with raffles starting at 2:00 p.m. There will be drawings for guns every five minutes and a drawing for $500 every half hour. With the $50 entry fee you get one ticket to the raffle, all the food you want and access to one dollar drinks. The Y-City Gun Fest is in its second year under the Knights Foundation. Board member, Bruce Kolopajlo, said they are looking forward to a fun Saturday.
"We want every body to have a normal Saturday come on out, have some great food, have some fellowship with friends," Kolopajlo said.
And there are many TVs set up around the building to allow people to enjoy college football. Most of the proceeds of the event is given as scholarships to students attending Bishop Fenwick and Bishop Rosecrans.
"By us contributing money we’re able to provide scholarships for the students of Fenwick and Rosecrans High School, so that’s our goal, to help the kids to be able to go to school there that might not otherwise be able to attend," Kolopajlo said.
There are about 600 tickets left for the gun fest. You can buy as many as you want at $50 each. A single ticket gets you one entry into the raffle.
