Lois Faye (Anderson) Phillips, 69, of Byesville, passed away Monday (May 6, 2024) at her home.

She was born March 18, 1955 in Salem, daughter of the late William L. Anderson and Evelyn Rosemay (Suggett) Anderson.

Lois was a homemaker. She was an avid book reader and enjoyed needlepoint work. She loved listening to country and gospel music. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Lois was Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Russell Phillips Sr., who passed away in June of 1993. Also deceased is a sister, Evelyn Dingey.

Lois is survived by a son, Robert J. Phillips of Cambridge; a brother, Edward E. Anderson of Arkansas; three sisters, Shirley Jo Henthorne of Cambridge, Darlene M. Lake of Cambridge, and Linda K. Albert of Mount Vernon; several nieces & nephews; and her boyfriend of twenty years, Frederick Wallace King of Byesville.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday (May 9, 2024) at 11 a.m. at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, with Evan. Woody Biggs officiating.
