Newark Police Search for Suspects

Newark Police Department seeks information into the theft and unauthorized use of a credit card. 

Authorities said sometime between September 25-26 a suspect or suspects entered an attached garage at a home in the 200 block of Merchant Street and stole a purse out of a vehicle. 

Surveillance video then shows two white males using a credit card from that purse at an ATM and a convenience store. 

Anyone with information into this cases is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-488-9058. An up to $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
