18th Annual Motorcyclists for Kids Toy Ride

More than one hundred bikers rode from the colony square mall to The Salvation Army this afternoon.

The ride was the 18th Annual Motorcyclists for Kids Toy Tide. Rushing wind biker church puts on the ride and Pastor Michael McGuire says even the cold weather didn’t stop people from coming out in support.

"The weather was a little brisk, but man we had a lot of great enthusiasts that came to support this out reach for the under privileged kids here in the Muskingum County area."

The motorcyclists started at The Colony Square mall and rode south to The Salvation Army where a warm lunch, door prizes, a half and half and even a live auction waited for them. McGuire expressed his gratitude for both the people and organizations that made this another successful ride.

"We are very thankful that the clubs and ministries and just motorcycle enthusiasts came together and, they just make this outreach very successful working with those in this area, along with The Salvation Army partnering up and being able to reach out for our under privileged children here in the Zanesville area."

Each motorcyclist donated ten dollars or an unwrapped toy of the same value for the event.
