Nancy Lea Robinson, age 70, peacefully entered into the joy of the Lord, on May 12, 2024.

Nancy was born in Zanesville, Ohio on August 2, 1953, to the late Jack and Daisy Jirles. She graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1971, and married the love of her life and soul mate, Robert (Bob) Robinson on November 17, 1971. She was a longtime resident of Buffalo, Ohio and spent the final 6 years of her life residing at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newcomerstown, Ohio, as she battled Alzheimer’s disease.

Nancy was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and going to yard sales. She loved the ocean, and her favorite place was Jekyll Island, Georgia. She was kind, caring, and selfless. She had a huge smile and loved to laugh. She spent many years cleaning houses, but had worked at several other places, including Bargain City, Meridian Plastics, Byesville IGA, Victorian Inn, and T & J Market.

Nancy was an Apostolic Pentecostal in her conviction and wholeheartedly believed the Acts 2:38 message. She was a member of the Cambridge United Pentecostal Church for many years, then, of the Anchor Church of Zanesville. She loved Jesus with all her heart. She prayed daily for her family, and that everyone would come to Him, and know Him as she did. She loved listening to Christian and Southern Gospel music, worshipping, going to church, teaching Sunday School, Children’s Church and helping with Vacation Bible Schools. She had an immense amount of unwavering faith and trusted God in everything.

Along with her husband, Nancy is survived by her three children, Chad (Nikki) Robinson of Byesville, Angela (Paul) McCulley of New Concord, and Stephanie (Ernie) Norman of Newcomerstown; two brothers, Tim (Pam) Jirles of Cambridge and Jim Jirles of Ava; 16 grandchildren, Andy (Colleen) Sigman, Brody (Kristin) Robinson, Alycin (Robbie) Arnold, Emma Robinson, Autumn and Winter Griffith, Joanna, Jaden, Grayson, Matthew, and Marisola McCulley, Dylan Tabler, Jake, Elana, Caden and Caleb Norman; 4 great-grandchildren, Rayna and Bennett Robinson, Paisley and Raelynn Sigman; several nieces and nephews; her special babydoll, “Robbie”; and her family from Riverside Manor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Moore and Lisa Jirles; two sister-in-laws, MaryAnn Jirles and Angie Fair; granddaughter, Aleesia McCulley; niece, Heather Moore; nephew, Zachary Gerdau; and Freddie, her faithful dog of sixteen years.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (May 15, 2024) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and also on Thursday (May 16, 2024) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Funeral services will follow at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, on Thursday (May 16, 2024) at 11 a.m. with her son-in-law, Pastor Ernie Norman, officiating.

Nancy will be laid to rest at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, Ohio.

A dinner will follow the service at the Byesville VFW.
