Perry County Election Results

Citizens of Perry County elect Republican David Freriks as county as County Commissioner. He defeated Todd Shafer by over 1,800 votes. 

Democrat Teresa Stevenson fell in defeat to Republican Drew Cannon by over 700 votes. Cannon had 4,900 votes while Stevenson had 4,134. 

Voters failed to pass the Perry County Developmental Disabilities 2.5 mill replacement increase to 3.5 mills. They also failed to pass the Perry County Children Services levy. 

The Southern Local Schools levy also failed by over 160 votes. 

The Villages of Crooksville and New Lexington also defeated a gas and electric aggregation issue.

Crooksville residents did pass a levy for the operation of the swimming pool and city park .4 mills for 5 years.
