Richard Rickeart

Richard “Rick” Alan Rickeart Sr., 69, of Frazeysburg passed at 8:00 PM on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

He was born on Saturday, June 26, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Wayne E. Rickeart and Ruth P. McKee Rickeart.

Rick worked for Longaberger Construction Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta “Jo” Tyson Rickeart; three children, Shellie (Brian) Fredregill, Richard “Ricky” A. (Melinda) Rickeart Jr. and Jennifer (Robert) Nemeth; six grandchildren; two great granddaughters; two sisters, Ruth Johnson and Raejean (Ron) Riley; a brother, Rob (Shannon) Rickeart; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by a brother Randy Rickeart, and a granddaughter, Vaida.

No public visitation will be observed, and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
